Import and export
Bring your existing data into AgentOS from a file, and take any set of records out again. AI maps the columns of your file to the fields of your module, so you only check its work.
How do I import a file?
Drop a .csv, .xlsx or .xml file onto the module's table. Or click New above the table
and choose Import data from a file.
Import data then takes you through four steps:
- Data destination: the module and space the records go to.
- Source: your file.
- Map fields: AI matches each column to a field. Change any match you want, then click Re-launch AI mapping to map again.
- Preview: check a sample of the records, click Continue, then Start import.
The import runs in the background. Follow its progress in Incoming data, in the menu under your avatar.
Importing files is open to admins.
How do I export records?
- Select the records you need, or all of them.
- Click Bulk actions above the table and choose Download & print.
- In Export template, choose Export to XLSX List, Export to CSV list or Export to XML.
- For an XLSX or CSV list, choose under Data to export between Visible fields and Full dataset. An XLSX list also lets you pick the Export language.
Can an agent bring the data in for me?
Yes. An agent with Read & write access to a module can create and update its records, for example from an app it is connected to. Tell it where the data is and where it should go. See Connections and security.
Next: Work with records, or ACT automations to keep imported data up to date on its own.
