Work with records

A record is one row of your data, such as one product or one deal. You and your agents work on the same records, so every change is visible to everyone who can see the module.

How do I find records?

Open the module from Data in the left rail. Use Filter in the toolbar to narrow the table, and group or color the rows to see patterns at a glance. Pick a space in the spaces bar to see only its records, or a segment to apply a saved filter.

How do I add or edit a record?

Click New above the table and choose New record. To edit, click a record to open it:

  • Basic information holds the main fields.
  • Attachments holds the record's files.
  • Further tabs show field groups and the records linked to this one.

On a wide screen, the split-view button in the toolbar opens the record beside the table, so you can move from record to record without losing your place.

How do I change many records at once?

Select the records in the table, then click Bulk actions above it:

  • Status and Labels set them on every selected record.
  • Move to moves the records to another space.
  • Bulk edit changes the same fields on all of them.
  • Download & print exports them. See Import and export.
  • Delete removes them.

How do I hand records to an agent?

Select the records, click Bulk actions and choose Ask an agent (<count>). Chat with Boosty opens with the records in the message box. Finish the sentence, for example "write a product description for each", and send it. Boosty passes the job to the agent that fits it.

The agent needs access to the module to work on its records. See Connections and security.

Next: Import and export, or ACT automations to have records handled the moment they change.
