Build an ACT automation in chat

You describe what should happen and when. Your agent writes the automation, tests it, and switches it on once you confirm. No code to write and nothing to host.

How do I describe it?

Open Chat, or click New automation in Automations. Say three things:

Say For example
When it runs "Every weekday at 7:00", or "When a lead is created"
What it works with "the Leads module", or "our Stripe account"
What it does with the result "Post the hot ones to our Sales channel in Slack."

All together: "When a lead is created, score it from 1 to 10 by company size and budget, and post the leads above 7 to our Sales channel in Slack."

Tell Boosty, and Boosty hands the job to the agent that fits it. Or tell that agent directly.

What happens after I send it?

  1. The agent writes the automation and test-runs it in an isolated environment. When the test fails, it fixes the code and tests again.
  2. If the automation needs a key to another service, the agent sends you a one-time link to save it as a secret. See Secrets.
  3. Before it calls another service or switches a schedule or a webhook on, the agent shows you what it is about to do and waits for your confirmation.
  4. Once you confirm, the automation is live on the ACT automations tab, and the agent tells you in the chat.

If the job needs the agent's judgement every time, such as a summary, the agent makes it an agent automation instead.

How do I change it?

Open the automation and click Edit with Boosty. Chat opens with the automation named. Say what should change: "Run it at 8:00 instead", or "Also include the lead's country."

To switch it off, click Pause. Resume switches it on again.

Can I build automations from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect your AI tool, and ask it the same way. It builds, tests and asks you to confirm exactly like an agent in Chat. See Connect AI (MCP).
